About the role

Role Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer at Growth Signals, an early team member helping shape the company’s software delivery systems. You’ll own and improve the tooling, workflows, and platform automation that power CI/CD and the cloud production environment.

Responsibilities

Champion DevOps best practices across the organization (automation, monitoring, security)
Build and maintain developer tooling to improve productivity and developer experience
Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (build, test, release, deployment)
Identify bottlenecks in delivery workflows and drive measurable improvements
Strengthen CI/CD and software delivery security (secrets management, access controls, secure automation)
Document infrastructure and developer enablement standards, patterns, and best practices
Improve observability (logging, alerting, metrics, performance monitoring)
Contribute to cloud architecture decisions focused on scalability, reliability, cost, and operational simplicity

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related roles
Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern SaaS architectures
Hands-on experience with developer tooling, automation, and platform enablement
Production experience with containerized workloads
Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and configuration management
Observability experience using tools such as Grafana and Datadog (or similar)
Experience with least-privilege access, secrets management, and CI/CD security controls
Strong scripting/programming skills for automation
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence engineering standards

Preferred Qualifications

CI/CD experience for monorepos and complex multi-service build/release workflows
Experience designing internal developer platforms / self-service tooling
Experience supporting regulated or security-conscious environments
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
