Senior DevOps Engineer (CloudInfra)

Role overview

EvolutionIQ is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infra) to build and scale secure, cost-optimized infrastructure. You will lead infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and drive operational excellence across environments that power data pipelines, applications, and machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable infrastructure across cloud platforms with IaC (Terraform)
• Improve the observability stack across GCP infrastructure and applications
• Drive consistency and operational excellence across teams
• Enable the data engineering team to use Dagster efficiently
• Build infrastructure automation pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, Helm, and Argo CD
• Ensure industry-standard security controls in cloud environments
• Institute a culture of reliability in a federated ownership environment

Requirements

• 7+ years of DevOps experience
• Extensive experience designing and operating production systems on GCP
• Strong exposure to networking, Kubernetes, Docker, containerized development, Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD
• Experience with production operations and collaboration with product engineering teams
• Experience integrating with SIEM and security tooling (e.g., vulnerability scanners)
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate clearly
• Team-oriented, solutions-focused mindset

Nice to have

• Automation/scaffolding experience around Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with Dagster
• Strong ownership of CI/CD pipeline delivery
• Ability to map technical and non-technical perspectives effectively
