Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation (AWS) | Remote

Role Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud & Automation) for a remote hourly contract (10–40 hours/week). You’ll design and operate CI/CD and infrastructure automation for reliable, scalable cloud deployments on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability
• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and operational standards
• Apply best practices for continuous integration/continuous delivery workflows

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Proficiency with automation tools: Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
