Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Join Borrowell as a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate mission-critical cloud infrastructure. You will lead Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, improve deployment workflows, and embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines while partnering closely with development, security, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure that supports the marketplace
• Own and drive the IaC strategy and build reusable deployment tooling
• Integrate automated testing into delivery pipelines
• Collaborate with Dev, Security, and QA to ensure reliable service delivery

Requirements

• CI/CD & Automation: Experience designing and maintaining deployment pipelines (notably Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions / GitLab)
• Cloud Networking: Strong networking fundamentals (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, private networking, routing, DNS)
• Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on Docker experience and Kubernetes container orchestration
• Security: Practical experience implementing and managing Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules/policies
• IaC: Strong Terraform experience, including reusable modules and automated deployments
• Scripting: Proficiency with Bash for operational workflow automation
• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on cloud architecture, with a preference for Azure
• Linux: Working knowledge of Linux administration and OS-level troubleshooting
• Microservices: Familiarity with .NET microservice architectures and underlying infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Collaboration: Analytical/troubleshooting skills in distributed, microservices environments; comfortable working in an Agile ecosystem
