Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Avive Solutions, you will design, build, and maintain a robust, scalable cloud infrastructure. You will automate operational processes, optimize performance, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Automate & optimize infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment processes, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
• Use IaC and GitOps practices to implement and maintain infrastructure and workflows.

Requirements

• 3–7 years in DevOps or a similar role with automation, system integration, and operations.
• Comfort working in a Linux command-line environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and operational issue resolution.
• Strong working knowledge of Git / source control.
• Bash and Python scripting; proficiency with APIs/SDKs.
• Containerization knowledge: Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Cloud experience: AWS.
• IaC proficiency: Pulumi and Terraform.
• Monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Experience in Agile or DevOps-driven teams and using Agile boards for work tracking (e.g., Jira).
• Knowledge of GitOps concepts and hands-on implementation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch, Elasticsearch Agent, and Kibana.
• Website certificate management.
• Setup/deployment of Kubernetes Dashboard.
• WireGuard VPN.
• Linux administration, networking, and firewalls.
• Security best practices and DevSecOps integration.
• Professional certifications in cloud, security, or DevOps.
