Senior Developer with ( Vue.js,Node.js GraphQL) (Remote)

Role Overview

Senior Developer for Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice, building high-performing, scalable enterprise applications. You’ll work in an agile digital software team delivering valuable working software for clients and their users.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery across the software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
• Develop responsive, accessible UI following accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Build and maintain microservices with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Implement and integrate GraphQL APIs, including assisting with schema design and efficient data querying
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Debug and resolve production issues with timely fixes
• Continuously learn and improve via knowledge sharing and incremental process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and GraphQL APIs
• Strong Node.js experience building backend services and APIs
• Working knowledge of TypeScript for type-safe, maintainable code
• Vue.js experience building component-based front-end applications
• Practical exposure to GraphQL (consuming APIs and basic schema/resolver understanding)
• Strong problem-solving and ability to communicate technical concepts
