Senior Developer

Role overview

Senior Developer (hands-on software engineering). You will design, build, deploy, and maintain production-quality software across client and internal initiatives, operating with high autonomy and owning technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain production-grade software aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Participate across the full SDLC: analysis, design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Lead and contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions, providing rationale and trade-off analysis.
• Build and maintain reliable, secure, and performant cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices: automation, CI/CD, testing, and operational maturity.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in at least one primary programming language: Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript (or equivalent), with strong understanding of its ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested codebases.
• Strong fundamentals: data structures & algorithms, API design & integration, modular/layered architectures, and performance/scalability.
• Ability to deliver and operate production systems in the cloud with a DevOps mindset.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing/deployments, and observability.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Senior-level ownership: autonomy, clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a record of improving engineering practices (quality, reliability, delivery).

Nice-to-haves

• Broader stack familiarity across adjacent frontend and/or backend layers for effective end-to-end delivery.
• Full-stack capability across backend APIs and application layers.
