About the role

Role Overview

Senior Software Developer (hands-on, client-facing) responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for application modernization and digital transformation across mobile, web, and commerce workstreams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain production-grade software modernizing applications.
Contribute across the full SDLC: analysis, design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Participate in code reviews and architecture/technical decision-making, providing clear rationale and trade-off analysis.
Build and maintain reliable, secure, and performant services across Azure, AWS, and hybrid/on-premises environments.
Deliver APIs, microservices, and integrations supporting end-to-end experiences; collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and engineers.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers via code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
Improve engineering practices, including automation, CI/CD, testing, and operational maturity.

Required Technical Strengths

Very strong expertise in at least one primary language, such as:
- C#/.NET (/.NET Core)
- TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js)
Modern application engineering depth with clean design, testability, and sound trade-offs for APIs/microservices, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript and GraphQL.
DevOps-oriented operability experience (CI/CD, IaC, automated testing/deployments, observability).
Practical delivery/operation experience on Azure and/or AWS and in containerized environments with Kubernetes.

Tech/Environment

Primary app foundation: .NET Core with additional components in Node.js and TypeScript.

Cloud/hybrid deployment: Azure, AWS, hybrid/on-premises, using Kubernetes (and Docker where applicable).
