Role overview

Join 1Password’s Growth Team as a Senior Developer, Growth. You’ll build new self-serve experiences, evolve the backend systems and integrations powering product growth, and run rapid experimentation with tight feedback loops across B2B product suites.

Responsibilities

Shape and evolve the experimentation platform, including:
- feature flags
- instrumentation
- data quality
- reporting loops
Design and implement experiments that drive activation, engagement, and expansion
Partner with product, design, and data to:
- refine hypotheses
- define measurable outcomes
- interpret results
Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security
Raise the bar for code quality, observability, and performance across the team
Mentor engineers via code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing
Identify technical opportunities to unlock new growth mechanisms
Ensure work leads to measurable customer and business impact

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development in a production SaaS environment
Strong experience building backend services in modern languages such as Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python
Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications
Strong understanding of instrumentation, analytics, and success metrics
Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives, and influence technical direction
Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset

Nice to have

Experience leading experimentation-driven product development
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Looker, or Qualtrics
Experience in security- or compliance-sensitive domains
