About the role

Role Overview

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Senior Developer) for the client’s Digital Commerce team. You’ll be a hands-on contributor building and evolving micro-frontend (MFE) web applications that power the end-to-end purchasing experience: browsing, cart, checkout, payment capture, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Delivery / Engineering

Build and maintain React-based micro-frontend applications across cart, checkout, order management, and payment flows
Decompose ambiguous requirements into well-scoped engineering tasks
Create responsive and accessible UI components aligned with design system standards
Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to deliver complete end-to-end features
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain high code quality and coverage
Participate in code reviews and provide/receive constructive technical feedback

Technical Contribution

Own micro-frontend architecture decisions (e.g., module federation, shared dependencies, deployment boundaries)
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks (rendering, state management, data fetching)
Apply frontend security best practices (e.g., XSS/CSRF and secure handling of payment data)
Support CI/CD pipelines and help maintain build tooling

Collaboration / Agile

Work in an Agile team (sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives)
Partner with backend and platform engineers to design clean API contracts
Unblock teammates via technical guidance and knowledge sharing

Growth

Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pairing, and documentation
Stay current with the React ecosystem and advocate for adoption where appropriate

Requirements

GC holder or USC required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years web application development; 3+ years focused on React and modern JavaScript frameworks
Proven ability to own features end-to-end in a micro-frontend architecture with minimal guidance
Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Strong communication and collaborative working style

Skills (Role-Specific)

React: hooks, context API, component lifecycle, performance optimization patterns
Micro-Frontend Architecture: module federation (Webpack 5) and MFE composition patterns
State Management: Redux, Zustand, or similar (global vs local state judgment)
Testing: Jest and React Testing Library
