About the role

Role Overview

Securitize is hiring a Senior Designer to join its growing Marketing team. You will own the end-to-end design of investor- and issuer-facing experiences, helping make a complex, highly regulated product feel intuitive, trustworthy, and compliant.

This is a high-impact individual contributor (IC) role partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product design for key surfaces (discovery → wireframes/prototypes → final specs delivered to engineering).
Design complex workflows including:
- Investor onboarding
- KYC/AML flows
- Portfolio dashboards
- Secondary market trading experiences
Lead discovery efforts such as user interviews, competitive analysis, and usability testing.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define scope, manage tradeoffs, and ship high-quality work on time.
Contribute to and evolve Securitize’s design system for consistency across web and mobile.
Translate regulatory/compliance constraints into clear, user-friendly experiences.
Present and defend design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
Champion user-centered design practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of product/UX design experience with a portfolio showing ownership of complex, multi-step user flows.
Strong Figma skills, including:
- Component libraries
- Auto-layout
- Prototyping
Experience designing data-dense and compliance-sensitive (regulated) products (e.g., fintech, banking, healthcare, etc.).
Ability to conduct and synthesize user research.
Solid interaction design principles and responsive web design knowledge.
Clear, confident communicator able to present, defend decisions, and incorporate feedback.
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Experience designing for blockchain, tokenization, digital securities, or alternative investment platforms.
Familiarity with design systems at scale (building/maintaining shared component libraries).
Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
Prior experience at a high-growth fintech or financial services company.
