Role Overview

Senior Delivery Manager (Remote) You will lead delivery discipline across complex, dependency-heavy software work by staying close to the engineering teams, surfacing risk early, and bringing structure and clarity to delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve delivery visibility across cross-team work by tracking blockers, integration risks, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Model the impact of scope changes, timeline shifts, and capacity constraints, presenting structured options with clear trade-offs.
• Drive backlog readiness so work entering execution is well-defined and dependency-mapped.
• Proactively identify and manage delivery risk by quantifying impact and framing resolution paths for engineering and product leadership.
• Improve delivery operating norms to reduce rework, carryover, and execution variability.
• Use AI tools as force multipliers for delivery operations (e.g., status synthesis, risk narratives, backlog readiness summaries) while maintaining strong human judgment.
• Influence engineering and product manager behavior via structure, data, and accountability on delivery commitments.

Requirements

• Technically fluent delivery manager operating at the team level, close to the work and the engineers.
• Understands the full software development lifecycle from planning through delivery.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and resetting expectations when dependencies slip or scope pressure increases.
• Can adapt delivery rigor to different team operating models.
• Understands when AI augments delivery versus when it creates false confidence.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working in flow-based, service-oriented and/or iteration-based team environments.

Remote / Location

• Work from home; can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US, or in corporate locations in Utah, Arizona, or Colorado.
