Senior Delivery Lead

Role overview

The Senior Delivery Lead ensures Camunda Professional Services (PS) implementation engagements are delivered predictably. You’ll translate customer outcomes into realistic delivery plans and steer execution with technical credibility—going beyond status reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of customer implementation engagements, turning outcomes into a plan covering scope, milestones, dependencies, and budget
• Align Camunda, customer, and partner teams on goals, outcomes, ways of working, and budget with shared accountability
• Drive scope decomposition, estimation, and change control; make trade-offs explicit (scope/time/quality) and protect commitments
• Own stakeholder communication: provide clear, evidence-based updates and drive timely decisions with customers and internal leadership
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks (e.g., environments, integrations, NFRs, readiness) and remove blockers
• Capture learnings from engagements to improve Camunda’s PS delivery excellence framework

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a (Technical) Delivery Lead / Project Management role in enterprise software or SaaS
• Proven track record leading agile customer-facing PS implementation engagements
• Ability to align multi-party teams on cadence and Definition of Done, delivering predictable increments/releases on time, on budget, and with high quality
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving
• Customer success mindset, including understanding how PS engagements support retention and expansion in ARR-driven enterprise software
• Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda’s product

• Familiarity with software engineering, process orchestration, and automation
