Senior Decision Scientist (Measurement & Insights)

Join Maven, a leading digital health company, as a Senior Decision Scientist. In this role, you will connect clinical product, member experience, and AI and healthcare initiatives into one coherent story. You will build cross-functional reporting, partner on data architecture, and surface insights that only become visible when looking across surfaces. You will also define success metrics, establish shared language and best practices, and mentor other analysts. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry. Key missions: Consolidate fragmented reporting into a coherent, shared view across clinical product, member experience, and our AI and healthcare work.. Partner on the design of scalable data architecture (primarily using SQL and Python), reducing one-off requests and letting every team answer its own questions faster.. Establish the shared language, standards, and best practices that make the whole team faster and sharper—mentoring other analysts along the way. Profile: - Demonstrated ability to design scalable data structures and reporting from both internal and 3rd party sources - Proficiency with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker) - 5+ years of relevant analytics or data science experience, with a track record of cross-functional or cross-surface work - An ability to juggle long-term, strategic projects alongside ad hoc, urgent requests - Fluency in SQL, DBT, and a strong background in data visualization - Hands-on experience with Python or R - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to turn data into direction for cross-functional stakeholders - Experience working with event-based data - Knowledge of experimentation and/or statistical modeling - Experience building shared measurement frameworks or semantic/metrics layers used across multiple teams
