Role Overview

Join Billie as a Senior Data Scientist (full remote). You will design, develop, and productionize machine learning solutions that support credit and portfolio management, driving technical execution and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end development & productionization of machine learning solutions for credit and portfolio management.
• Drive technical solutions for high-quality, impactful ML across multiple domains.
• Define and execute analytics for complex, cross-domain problems, including hypothesis development for experimentation.
• Serve as a technical leader within cross-functional teams.
• Productionize ML services using modern MLOps practices, including containerization, event-driven architectures, and model monitoring.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the business and ability to apply expertise to pressing problems with direct, measurable impact.
• Hands-on Python experience (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL.
• Strong business acumen to translate complex business problems into clear analytical and technical requirements.
• Hands-on graph database experience (e.g., Neo4j) to model/analyze interconnected data.
• 6+ years of Data Science experience with significant exposure to the credit domain.
• Experience building scorecards, limit policies, and portfolio management capabilities.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills to maximize organizational decision-making from technical findings.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake and/or BigQuery.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
