Senior Data Project Manager

Role Overview

Senior Data Project Manager / Senior Project Manager (Data & Analytics) Remote (100%). W2 role only.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project management for data and analytics initiatives, including:
  • scoping and planning
  • analysis
  • execution (including testing)
  • monitoring and project closure
• Create and maintain work breakdown structures (WBS) with milestones and dependencies, ensuring the critical path is identified and tracked.
• Lead delivery planning and coordination for data-focused programs (preferably with exposure to Azure data services).

Requirements

• Strong focus on Data with exposure to Azure (e.g., ADF, Data Lakes, Databricks).
• Retail or ecommerce domain experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years in IT project management with a focus on Data and Analytics.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end data/analytics project workstreams.
• Experience identifying and tracking project dependencies and the critical path via WBS.

Nice-to-haves

• Deeper hands-on familiarity with Azure data tooling such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), data lakes, and Databricks.
