Senior Data Engineer/ SQL/ Remote

Role Overview

Join a small, highly autonomous team as a Senior Data Engineer. You will own and scale a modern data platform that powers an internally developed AI operating system, now evolving into a market-ready product.

Responsibilities

• Build and own end-to-end data platforms powering AI use cases
• Design and scale data warehousing and transformation pipelines
• Orchestrate data workflows at production scale
• Develop Python-based integrations supporting AI-driven workloads
• Support advanced AI use cases such as:
  • RAG pipelines
  • Vector search / vector database use
  • LLM-driven workflows

Required Skills

• 10+ years of data engineering experience
• Expert-level SQL and strong data modeling skills
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Snowflake
  • dbt
  • Airflow
  • Python
• Proven ability to build and operate data platforms independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience producing AI systems on top of data platforms
• RAG architectures, embeddings, and/or vector databases
• LLM workflows, evaluation, or LLMOps
• Startup/small-team experience
• Strong system design and architectural thinking
