Role overview

Join Qualifyze’s Product & Tech team as a Senior Data Engineer. You’ll build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers insights across the company, improving reliability, structure, and availability as the organization scales globally.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams to design and maintain data infrastructure.
Write ETLs/ELTs from scratch to build and evolve an effective Data Warehouse.
Maintain data pipelines with Dagster.
Establish and run sanity checks to improve data quality.
Continuously improve data processes and infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
Take ownership of initiatives from start to finish and manage projects independently.

Requirements

Experience with modern data orchestration tools, specifically Dagster.
Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud databases.
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
Proven ability to build and maintain ETLs/ELTs (ideally using dbt or similar frameworks).
Strong Python skills for data analytics, transformations, APIs, and AI/ML-related work.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment; strong communication with internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically.
Proactive, self-driven mindset.

Nice to have

Experience with RAG solutions (vector databases, LLMs) and data curation flows.
Experience with modern data stack tools such as Fivetran and Hightouch.
