Senior Data Engineer

Role: Senior Data Engineer (Multiple Positions)

You will design, build, and modernize scalable data pipelines and integrations across healthcare data systems, providing technical leadership and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, efficient data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and help define data architectures.
• Build and optimize data integration flows between systems including Snowflake, Salesforce, and SAP BW.
• Apply data engineering best practices to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute to data modernization using cloud solutions and optimized data processing workflows.
• Provide technical leadership by tracking emerging data engineering technologies and implementing industry best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support environment promotions via GitHub CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
• Work with Azure Blob Storage, Logic Apps (email notifications), and Azure Key Vault (secrets management).
• Participate in evaluating and identifying new strategies for steady and streamlined portal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the offered or related role.
  • OR Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of experience.
• 4+ years demonstrated experience in:
  • SQL (complex query writing for debugging/fixing issues)
  • Java (building pipelines and data transformation)
  • Python/Scala (building and enhancing applications)
  • MySQL (querying and fixing application-related data issues)
  • ETL/ELT development (designing, building, orchestrating pipelines)
  • Data modeling (Snowflake schema, normalization/denormalization, dimensional modeling)
  • CI/CD using GitHub Actions (build/test/release automation)
  • Talend (ETL platform for integrating multiple sources)
• 2+ years demonstrated experience in:
  • Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory
  • PySpark
  • AWS (object storage)
  • Azure (Blob Storage, Logic Apps, Key Vault, resource groups, IAM/user management)

Compensation

• $156,998 – $184,400 per year.
