Responsibilities

Data & AI Engineering

  • Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse, lakehouse, and data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes; develop semantic models and enterprise data architectures
  • Ensure solutions meet data quality, reliability, security, governance, and performance requirements
  • Implement AI-enabled solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and related technologies
  • Develop AI-assisted automation to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Purview Data Catalog (metadata, classification, lineage, business glossary)
  • Design/support automated data transformation and reporting for external entities
  • Develop secure Azure-based applications for data collection, validation, workflow management, and integrations
  • Support Microsoft Fabric administration (monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, tuning)
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reports, and self-service analytics
  • Create advanced DAX measures, KPIs, calculations, semantic models, and visualizations
  • Deliver reporting for executive, operational, regulatory, and external stakeholders
  • Optimize dashboard performance, usability, scalability, refresh processes, and adoption
  • Lead design/implementation of a secure external-facing Power BI analytics portal hosted within Azure
  • Configure and maintain Row-Level Security, RBAC, authentication/authorization, tenant segmentation, and data governance controls
  • Support reporting requests, enhancements, KPI development, and ad hoc analysis
  • Drive reporting standards, visualization best practices, and data literacy

Requirements

  • 7+ years in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, software development, or related fields
  • 5+ years building enterprise Power BI solutions
  • 5+ years with SQL development and enterprise data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (or comparable Azure data platforms)
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, semantic models, and dashboard optimization
  • Experience with SQL, Python, REST APIs, data warehouse engineering, and lakehouse architecture
  • Experience building secure, enterprise-scale data solutions
  • Experience with Azure authentication/authorization, Row-Level Security, and RBAC
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
