Role overview

Unacast is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data Operations team. This role combines supplier data evaluation with sales/customer operations support, ensuring incoming supplier data is accurate, consistent, and ready for use in Unacast products.

Responsibilities

Supplier Data Analysis & Evaluation

Evaluate and validate incoming supplier data quality, reliability, and consistency (e.g., overlap analysis, uniqueness, fill rates, and format checks).
Automate data checks and run statistical analyses using SQL and Python.
Build dashboards, frameworks, and repeatable processes to monitor supplier performance and data quality metrics/trends.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve supplier data.
Present actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Customer Data & Analytics Support

Pull and analyze data from internal platforms and Snowflake.
Produce analytics from Geo-Signals Cloud and customer data to derive insights from big data.
Support data requests from Sales and Product for analytics products for existing and prospective customers.
Work with internal/external customers to gather requirements and deliver the correct data.
Identify and communicate data issues that impact data quality during analytics production.

Customer Delivery Operations

Configure and manage customer data delivery jobs using AWS and internal tools.
Support customer onboarding and custom deliveries; troubleshoot data-delivery issues.
Manage API key creation and monitor usage metrics; provide API-related support.
Write Snowflake SQL for customer requests and internal reporting.
Participate in QA to ensure delivered datasets meet customer requirements.
Create dashboards/visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets) for customers and internal stakeholders.
Automate delivery processes and document workflows to improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
Expert-level SQL skills (Snowflake preferred).
Strong proficiency in Python for automation and data transformation.

Nice to have (implied)

Experience building dashboards and reporting (mentioned as Tableau/visualization oriented).
