Senior Data Analyst, Supply Product

Role Overview

Senior Data Analyst for SeatGeek’s Supply and Money Movement (payments) analytics efforts. You’ll partner with the Money Movement product team to improve the purchasing and payout experience by turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting frameworks and metrics to determine incremental revenue from new features.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics Engineering to implement and measure initiatives (e.g., Account Credit payment method).
• Measure how adding/modifying payment methods affects conversion and take rate.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment unit economics and product experience using historical trends.
• Evaluate expected impact of partnership opportunities to influence business decisions.
• Define, evaluate, and monitor key metrics; investigate root causes of metric shifts.
• Perform A/B test analysis using existing experimentation tools and support an experimentation roadmap.
• Conduct exploratory analysis to optimize payment options and influence customer payment method selection.
• Analyze how costs affect net take and collaborate with Supply product teams to identify improvements.
• Build lasting data modeling solutions, including automation and SQL-based ETL pipelines (dbt/warehouse workflows).
• Communicate insights and recommendations to product teams to drive decision-making.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, CS, statistics, mathematics, psychology, etc.).
• Expert-level SQL.
• Experience analyzing large datasets.
• Experience building reports/dashboards with business intelligence tools.
• Understanding of online testing methodologies and metric development.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) (Python is used in the stack).

Nice to Have

• Domain expertise in payments and complex revenue metrics.
