About the role
Role overview
As a Senior Data Analyst at QuinStreet, you’ll become an expert in digital marketing campaign performance and strategy. You’ll partner with other analysts to investigate, identify product issues, and drive optimizations that improve yield and support relationships with media partners.
Responsibilities
- Build a deep understanding of relevant data sources and use them to inform business decisions
- Develop expertise in analytical tools and support automation of business processes and decision-making
- Apply varied problem-solving approaches while managing multiple concurrent efforts in a fast-paced environment
- Investigate business problems and identify opportunities for growth
- Identify and communicate strengths/weaknesses and deploy creative analytical approaches
- Deliver timely, effective communication of insights and provide actionable improvement plans
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
- Inquisitive mindset; willingness to challenge the status quo and stakeholders
- Ability to digest disparate datasets and visualize key trends/takeaways
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including synthesis of data-proven results
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including:
- Abnormality detection
- Predictive analysis
- Market segmentation
- Competitive analysis
- Proficiency with SQL using enterprise datasets
- Experience with R or Python
- Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools
- Experience with automation in an enterprise setting (major plus)
Compensation
- $80,000–$130,000 USD annually (estimate; may vary by geography and company compensation practices)
- Eligible for performance bonus/commission and equity
