Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

PTR Global is seeking a Human Risk Data Analyst to support risk and operational decision-making through advanced analytics and reporting in a financial services environment. This remote role (EST preferred) is a W2 contract and suits candidates who can turn complex datasets into clear business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI
• Perform advanced analysis in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling)
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across reporting outputs
• Translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting and analytics needs
• Manage multiple projects and deliver reporting/analytics on time
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support
• Maintain documentation for data processes and reporting logic

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
• Experience handling large datasets with a focus on data quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL experience
• Snowflake familiarity
• Experience with Jira (or similar tools)
• Background in risk, compliance, or financial services
