About the role

Role Overview

Quickbase is hiring a Senior Data Analyst, Operational Intelligence to improve self-service analytics across the organization. You’ll act as a senior analytics partner to Product and Customer Success, turning complex business questions into trusted KPIs, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards and reports for core KPIs across product adoption, customer health, retention, and operational performance
Partner with Product and Customer Success to translate business questions into reliable, actionable insights
Design and maintain Snowflake data models supporting self-service analytics and recurring reporting
Contribute to a governed data layer by creating dbt models, tests, and documentation via pull requests
Define and document key business metrics to ensure consistency and trust across reporting
Enable self-service analytics through reusable datasets, standardized metric definitions, and clear documentation
Support recurring operating mechanisms (e.g., business reviews and executive reporting cycles) with high data accuracy and timeliness
Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across analytics workflows
Collaborate with Data Engineering on modeling standards and architectural best practices
Help build a governed semantic layer in Snowflake for self-service analytics and AI-driven tools
Work with the Applied AI team to align data requirements so Workato and Snowflake Cortex outputs use consistent, documented metrics

Requirements

7+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or operations analytics
Advanced SQL and strong understanding of data modeling
Hands-on dbt experience (models, tests, documentation)
Experience with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud data platform)
Senior experience supporting Product and/or Customer Success teams and recurring reporting cadences (e.g., business reviews)
Strong BI/dashboard skills with Power BI (or comparable tools), including dashboard development and semantic modeling
Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and drive them to a trusted solution
Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

Experience with Snowflake Cortex and/or semantic modeling/AI-driven analytics platforms
Familiarity with additional BI tools: Looker, Tableau, Sigma
Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks
Experience in a SaaS or product-led organization
Comfort sharing knowledge or informally mentoring peers
