Join MongoDB as a Senior Data Analyst, where you will support data-driven decision making and transform HR and organizational data into actionable insights. You will partner with the People team, conduct deep-dive analyses, manage a central repository for people data, and design automated dashboards. This position requires strong analytical and technical skills, experience in people/HR analytics, and proficiency in Python or R. Key missions: Collaborate with the People team to transform HR and organizational data into actionable insights, making data-driven recommendations.. Develop and execute a roadmap for people data investments, capturing near-term value and setting up the team for long-term success.. Design and build automated dashboards to empower stakeholders to self-serve their data and analytical needs, while prioritizing analytical and reporting requests. Profile: - This position requires someone with strong analytical and technical skills, the ability to tell a story with data, and who is comfortable working across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced, challenging environment - 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience (focus on people/HR analytics preferred) - Experience in survey design and analysis preferred - Proficient in Python or R with a strong focus on data wrangling and data analysis - Exposure to Modern Cloud Data Warehouses preferred - Experience analyzing complex people data (e.g. headcount, attrition, recruiting metrics, compensation data) strongly preferred but not required - Proficiency with data modeling and data quality best practices - Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-guided manner - Extensive experience with Tableau or another leading visualization tool is required - Advanced SQL skills, comfortable manipulating very large datasets - Committed to contributing to a collaborative, enjoyable, and psychologically safe work environment - Familiarity with data architecture fundamentals and data warehousing - Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and set priorities with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Highly collaborative and organized, with a strong attention to detail
