About the role
Role Overview
Senior Data Analyst (Marketing Experience) — remote-first in the United States. You’ll transform complex, multi-source marketing data into clear, actionable insights for enterprise clients, owning end-to-end delivery for assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery for client accounts: translate business needs into structured data and analytics solutions
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
- Design and optimize scalable data models integrating marketing data sources (e.g., CRM, ad platforms, web analytics)
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and investigation
- Manage transformations using dbt and ensure reliable ELT/ETL pipelines
- Map and document complex data flows across multi-source marketing ecosystems
- Perform QA and UAT to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and trust
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate insights clearly to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and client success teams to deliver actionable solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on SQL experience in data analytics or engineering
- Strong expertise in at least one BI tool (Looker, Power BI, or Tableau)
- Proven experience working with multiple marketing data sources
- Strong data modeling knowledge (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling)
- Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and ability to debug transformation logic
- Experience with QA/UAT and data validation practices
- Excellent communication skills; able to present to stakeholders and non-technical audiences
- English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken)
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail; ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
- Proficiency with AI tools and ability to integrate them into analytical workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Analytics and ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
- Familiarity with marketing attribution or Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
- Experience with dbt in analytics workflows
- Python (or similar scripting) for analysis/automation
- Data observability or data quality frameworks
