Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

Senior Data Analyst (W2 Contract, 12 months) — Remote (USA). You will lead enterprise analytics solutions and help modernize decision-making through advanced analytics, AI-powered insights, and workflow automation. The role emphasizes Tableau, AI, and Slack-based reporting as core requirements.

Responsibilities

• Tableau Analytics & Reporting
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.
  • Define and enforce Tableau governance, data quality standards, and dashboard best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish KPIs and data-driven reporting frameworks.
  • Drive Tableau adoption via training, enablement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Continuously optimize performance, usability, and business impact.
• Databricks & Data Engineering
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark (plus cloud data platforms).
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data into unified analytical datasets.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, consistency, and reliability.
  • Support analytics/AI initiatives by building robust, scalable data foundations.
• AI, Advanced Analytics & Automation
  • Identify opportunities for AI/ML and predictive analytics to improve business outcomes.
  • Develop and operationalize AI-driven insights using tools such as Tableau Pulse, Salesforce AI, or similar.
  • Design/support agentic AI workflows for data prep, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical use cases.
  • Translate business problems into scalable analytics and AI solutions.
• Slack & Workflow Enablement
  • Create Slack-based analytics experiences (automated reporting, alerts, real-time insights).
  • Build workflow automations and integrations that embed analytics into processes.
  • Enable proactive, data-driven decisions via automated notifications and recommendations.
  • Establish Slack as a central analytics/collaboration platform for stakeholders.
• Business Partnership & Strategic Analysis
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand priorities and deliver analytics solutions.
  • Analyze trends, risks, growth opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Present findings and recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Advise on data strategy, analytics enablement, and AI adoption.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• Advanced expertise in Tableau (dashboards, data modeling, governance, performance optimization).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, and/or cloud-based data platforms.
• Tableau Pulse / Salesforce AI (or similar) experience.
• Slack-based analytics/reporting experience is essential.
