About the role
Role Overview
The Senior Data Analyst supports analytics for dialysis and ESRD populations by turning clinical, operational, financial, and administrative data into actionable insights. You’ll build and maintain reporting tools, data pipelines, and analytical processes that inform patient care, operational performance, and physician-partner initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain reporting applications and analytical processes for operational and clinical performance.
- Analyze claims, clinical, and operational data to identify trends and compare performance vs. industry benchmarks.
- Interpret publicly available healthcare data; apply definitions and rules to ensure accurate analysis.
- Ensure ongoing data integrity and quality across the data pipeline (collection-to-reporting).
- Lead implementation of new technologies and special initiatives to improve analytical and reporting needs.
- Solve complex problems while managing multiple priorities in a fully remote environment.
- Lead mid-sized projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging analytics technologies, and evolving methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, economics, or related field OR 7+ years hands-on data analysis/BI/reporting experience.
- 5+ years experience with SQL.
- 3+ years experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
- Healthcare data experience (clinical and financial) is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), including creating data visualizations beyond basic Excel.
- Preferred: experience writing DAX for calculated measures/columns and complex time-intelligence logic in Power BI.
- Preferred: use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding, data analysis, or report development.
