Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at dv01, you’ll help the company expand into capital markets and structured finance. You’ll work with ABS and RMBS data, uncover key insights from loan-level information, and collaborate with engineering to build and productize analytics solutions for both customers and internal teams.

Key Missions

• Support dv01’s expansion into capital markets and structured finance by combining domain knowledge with modern technologies.
• Gain exposure across ABS and RMBS by aggregating and analyzing information from multiple sources feeding dv01 client offerings.
• Partner with engineering teams to develop and productize solutions for customers and internally.

Responsibilities

• Extract insights from financial and reporting materials (e.g., financial statements, investor reports, securitization trustee reports).
• Dive into loan-level data to identify metrics and transactional details.
• Communicate findings and viewpoints with internal teams and clients.
• Operate across multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Ability to draw insights from data; strong comfort working with financial statements and loan-level datasets.
• Proficiency with SQL and at least one of R or Python for large-scale data analysis.
• 5+ years experience working with financial data, including a deep understanding of loan-level originations and servicing.
• Strong communication skills with both internal stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with securitizations and/or multiple asset classes.
