Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at Doximity, you will analyze large datasets to identify and classify behavioral patterns of medical professionals using the platform. You will create product and client-facing analytics, help shape data team strategy, and work closely with product managers, analysts, and developers.

Key Missions

• Use Doximity’s large datasets to identify and classify behaviors of healthcare professionals on the platform.
• Build analytics for both product and clients.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and developers to define and drive data projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries across many tables and data relationships.
• Python proficiency and strong understanding of object-oriented programming as it relates to data.
• Experience with distributed data processing concepts and execution (e.g., Spark, column stores).
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, especially exploratory data analysis (EDA) and probability theory.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills to communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
• Fast learner with curiosity and passion for data.

Nice-to-Haves

• Some exposure to machine learning methods (e.g., regressors and classifiers).
