About the role

Role Overview

Senior Data Analyst to build the analytics foundation and “intelligence engine” powering care navigation. You’ll define the metrics that run the business—not just produce dashboards—supporting leadership, product, and operations as the company scales.

What You’ll Own

Analytics & AI-Powered Data Engine
- Design and maintain company-wide dashboards in Metabase and Amplitude
- Define KPI frameworks across operations, growth, product, and finance
- Design tracking architecture and guide instrumentation using Segment
- Ensure a single source of truth across systems
- Lay groundwork for predictive and AI-driven insights over time
Own the Data Layer
- Write advanced SQL and partner with product/engineering on schemas and data models
- Improve data reliability, governance, and documentation
- Build scalable transformation workflows (dbt preferred)
Drive Measurable Operational Leverage
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and quantify financial impact
- Build models for hiring plans, capacity forecasting, and cost structure
- Automate reporting with scalable systems; move from lagging to leading indicators
Influence Strategic Decisions
- Translate analysis into clear recommendations for leadership
- Support experimentation, forecasting, and growth modeling

Leadership runs the company on dashboards you built
Manual reporting is nearly eliminated

Requirements

Expert-level SQL
Strong experience with advanced data tools and an AI-first mindset
Familiarity with Metabase (and/or Power BI/Tableau)
Experience managing tracking with Segment
Comfortable with structured and semi-structured data (including JSON)
Ability to think in systems (not spreadsheets), influence decisions, and thrive in ambiguity

Bonus Points

Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments
Built analytics infrastructure from scratch
dbt experience
Python or R for automation/modeling
