About the role

Role Overview

Senior Data Analyst to lead analytics for Coalition’s GTM (go-to-market) and servicing motions, with a core focus on building a unified “Customer 360” view. You’ll connect data across marketing, sales, product, and servicing to understand how brokers and customers move through the lifecycle and where improvements can drive acquisition, onboarding, support, and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve the Customer 360 platform to unify customers and brokers across marketing, sales, and servicing touchpoints.
  • Lead cross-functional analytics projects using advanced SQL and data modeling to uncover insights and optimize GTM and servicing funnels.
  • Produce data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency, drive revenue and retention, and support OKR tracking.
  • Map end-to-end customer and broker journeys (from first touch through renewal/expansion) and measure key touchpoints.
  • Design and deliver data models, automated dashboards, and performance metrics to support GTM strategy, customer success, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Integrate and clean data from multiple sources (marketing platforms, CRM, product usage, servicing systems, billing, external data) to create actionable narratives.
  • Act as an SQL subject matter expert, mentoring junior analysts and promoting best practices in query design, data modeling, and documentation.
  • Uphold a culture of data excellence through quality, stakeholder empathy, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years in data analysis / business analytics / related analytical role with proven impact on marketing, GTM, or customer experience outcomes.
  • 4+ years domain experience in insurance, ideally supporting distribution, marketing, partnerships, or customer servicing.
  • Strong SQL skills: complex query design, data modeling, performance optimization, and thorough documentation.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, or similar for analytical and reproducible workflows.
  • Strong analytical/statistical techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, experiment design, interpretation) and ability to translate findings into recommendations.
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau, including leadership-ready dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills for non-technical GTM and business audiences.
  • Proven collaboration across product, marketing, sales, customer success, and operations.
