Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst will help Cityblock’s analytics team deliver trustworthy data insights, intuitive tools, and deep data domain expertise. You’ll work in agile teams, partner with executives and technical stakeholders, and act as a technical mentor across analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across operations, product, and clinical teams to translate strategy into analytics solutions
• Own and grow dbt-based infrastructure for operational workflows, following development best practices
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B and multivariate) to measure effectiveness
• Improve attribution logic using analytics best practices
• Build actionable dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making
• Collaborate with other analytics team members on shared infrastructure and cross-functional deliverables
• Leverage Generative AI / LLMs and prompt engineering to create conversational analytics tools and automate insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, healthcare informatics, statistics, or related field
• 5+ years using SQL in production; BigQuery preferred
• Strong skills in data modeling, testing, and analytics best practices
• 3+ years presenting data-driven analyses and recommendations to senior executives
• 2+ years supporting teams with statistically valid experiment design and analysis
• 3+ years working with cross-functional stakeholders in team-based analytics
• Proficiency with at least one BI tool (preferred: Looker), including visualization best practices
• 1+ year applying Generative AI / LLMs / conversational analytics to real-world data analysis workflows

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience as a technical mentor (e.g., code reviews, question design) across an analytics team
• Strong natural-language querying or conversational analytics implementation experience
