Senior Corporate Security Engineer

Role Overview

You’ll be a Senior Corporate Security Engineer supporting a partner company in a fully remote environment. The role focuses on embedding security best practices across workstations, SaaS applications, and identity systems, with an emphasis on proactive risk mitigation, incident response, and secure-by-design processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure IT workflows, moving from reactive to proactive security.
• Maintain and optimize security configurations for workstations (Windows/macOS), mobile devices, and SaaS applications.
• Manage email security to prevent phishing, spam, and malware.
• Oversee identity and access controls, including Entra ID, MFA enforcement, and least-privilege.
• Conduct security reviews for new and existing SaaS integrations and advise on secure implementations.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for internal security incidents, including compromise analysis and remediation coordination.
• Mentor IT and support teams on security best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Information Security or IT Engineering, with strong experience in remote workforce security and system hardening.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; certifications such as CISSP or GIAC preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Entra ID, plus SaaS/identity security integrations.
• Experience securing cloud/SaaS ecosystems, including Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, or similar.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to thrive in a fully remote, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including mentoring and translating complex concepts.
• Proven ability to lead security projects from design through full deployment with stakeholders.
