Senior Corporate Paralegal

Role Overview

Join as the first Senior Corporate Paralegal after the General Counsel to help build the foundation of a modern, scalable in-house legal function at a rapidly growing healthcare services company.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the General Counsel on corporate legal matters.
• Manage corporate governance, including entity management, board materials, and corporate records.
• Draft, review, and coordinate commercial agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, and customer agreements.
• Support M&A, financing transactions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate outside counsel and manage matters from intake through completion.
• Develop contract templates, playbooks, and SOPs.
• Build scalable legal processes, document management, and matter tracking systems.
• Identify legal operations improvements via process improvement and technology.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver practical, business-focused legal support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of corporate paralegal experience (in-house or sophisticated corporate practice preferred).
• Strong experience in corporate governance, commercial contracts, and entity management.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong judgment, communication, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where processes may not yet exist.

Preferred

• Experience building or improving legal department processes.
• Interest in legal operations, legal technology, or process optimization.
• Experience supporting M&A and/or highly regulated industries (including healthcare).

Compensation & Benefits

• $130,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience
