Role overview
Join Dropbox as a Senior Corporate FP&A Analyst with high-impact visibility to senior leadership. You’ll own parts of the end-to-end P&L view, contributing to topline forecasting, expense planning and consolidation, and synthesis of cross-company trends to support corporate planning and executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to revenue forecasting and expense planning, partnering with leadership and FP&A teams
- Support consolidation and help maintain/advance the quality of financial forecasts
- Identify gaps between modeled results and real business performance; improve forecast accuracy
- Partner cross-functionally to understand commercial performance drivers and underlying trends
- Collaborate with Data Systems and Data Science to improve performance modeling and communication
- Explain variances by reconciling differences between data, models, and business performance
- Over time, expand influence on corporate planning and executive-level materials/communication
Requirements
- Strong judgment and ability to form perspectives when data is incomplete
- Proven ability to operate independently on high-visibility FP&A workstreams
- At least 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to understand performance and drivers
- Ability to translate data into clear, decision-oriented insights for stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, including contributing to executive-level materials
- Comfort working in ambiguity; ability to bring structure to evolving processes/datasets
Preferred qualifications
- Strong financial modeling skills, including complex multi-driver models
- Experience with SaaS business models and metrics such as NNPU, ARPU, billings, revenue, NRR
- Familiarity with revenue forecasting concepts including cohort behavior and revenue timing
- Experience with data tools/platforms (e.g., Databricks, Tableau)
- Experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Oracle PBCS, Anaplan, Pigment)
- Exposure to Investor Relations, long-range planning (LRP), or corporate reporting processes
- Interest in building/scaling topline forecasting systems connected to expense planning
