Senior Corporate Development Manager (United States)

In this role, you help shape long-term growth strategy through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion. You will evaluate high-impact opportunities and guide executive decision-making across build, buy, and partner options in a fast-growing technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute partnership and acquisition opportunities
  • Build business cases and financial models; create executive-level presentations and recommendations
  • Lead corporate development processes end-to-end:
    • opportunity sourcing
    • strategic thesis development
    • due diligence
    • negotiations and execution
    • post-deal integration
  • Own financial analyses supporting investment decisions, valuation discussions, and strategic planning
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and VC/M&A landscapes; synthesize market intelligence
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, go-to-market, operations, legal, finance, and people teams to drive alignment and execution

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or similar strategic roles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience leading M&A and/or strategic partnership opportunities from evaluation through execution
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and business case development skills
  • Ability to independently manage complex initiatives and influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • Direct corporate development experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or related technology markets
  • Curiosity and responsible use of AI tools to improve efficiency and decision-making
