About the role
Role overview
The (Senior) Corporate Data Analyst will partner with stakeholders across the business to support the creation of a new internal data warehouse. You’ll manage the process of pulling, analyzing, and presenting key business data in an easily digestible way.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimize BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports
- Act as owner of the company-wide data warehouse: maintenance, availability, and coordination with data integration engineers when needed
- Gather and document BI requirements with cross-department stakeholders for projects, enhancements, and reporting
- Use data visualization and statistical analysis to present meaningful insights to stakeholders
- Apply data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and actionable information
- Build and reconcile regular-cadence and ad-hoc reports against system data
- Maintain documentation for data sources, models, and processes
- Train and support end-users on BI tools and reports
- Stay current on BI industry trends and best practices
- Use basic development skills with Python and SQL to extract insights (e.g., finance and business operations)
- Use problem-solving to deliver recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Use ticketing and project management software to manage deadlines and communicate progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a business-related field
- Corporate Data Analyst: 1+ years experience with analytics, reporting, and dashboard building
- Senior Corporate Data Analyst: 3+ years experience providing analytics and reporting to leadership/executives
- Strong technical experience with Python and SQL for data manipulation
- Superior communication skills
- Strong project ownership, attention to detail, and ability to be a self-starter
- Knowledge/experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
- Experience working with data engineers and understanding technical requirements
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Databricks, ThoughtSpot, and other data lake/warehouse and analytics tools
