Role Overview
Netflix is seeking a Senior Content Designer to help shape Netflix’s Ads Consumer experiences. In this remote-friendly role, you’ll innovate on ad formats, evolve ad canvases, and design privacy- and policy-related experiences that members can trust.
Responsibilities
- Shape Content Design vision and strategy for Ads consumer experiences.
- Design clear, engaging ad experiences across the Netflix product.
- Innovate new ad formats tailored to a wide variety of content and member experiences.
- Evolve existing ad canvases and improve the overall advertising experience.
- Implement ad privacy and policy experiences with clarity and trust.
- Define UX terminology, codify styles and content patterns, and craft UI copy for a global audience.
- Partner closely with other designers across member experience teams to ensure ads are additive to the Netflix experience.
Requirements / What You Bring
- View Content Design as a UX discipline, thinking in flows, states, and interactions.
- Strong systems thinking: build and maintain information architecture, language frameworks, and scalable content patterns.
- Ability to craft cohesive narratives across product touchpoints for clarity and trust.
- Product mindset: prioritize highest-impact work and make explicit tradeoffs with partners in Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Strong cross-functional alignment skills to resolve competing perspectives.
- Comfort working with visual and technical thinkers; able to present clear rationale and invite actionable feedback.
- Deep empathy for both advertisers and members, using data and insights to inform decisions.
Location / Remote Policy
- Remote-friendly with a flexible work-from-home schedule.
- Best fit for candidates located in California or the Pacific time zone due to monthly in-person travel to Los Angeles, CA and Los Gatos, CA.
- Exceptions may be possible for the right candidate.

The Ads Consumer team designs the consumer-facing advertising experiences across Netflix, balancing the needs of members and advertisers through rigorous testing, empathy, and expertise. The team also builds foundational features that differentiate the ads plan while maintaining control, transparency, and trust for members.
