About the role
Role Overview
Senior Consultant – Delivery Manager, supporting clients with complex cloud and software transformation initiatives. You’ll lead delivery activities across the full SDLC in agile teams, coordinating planning, execution, releases, and stakeholder alignment to deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end delivery across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within agile transformation projects
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, including critical paths, dependencies, sequencing, and release schedules
- Manage agile delivery workflows using Azure DevOps and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver milestones and commitments
- Own release planning and transitions into production and operational support
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, ensuring expectations are understood and managed
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and dependencies using structured mitigation and escalation
- Track and manage project budgets (T&M and fixed price), including forecasting and scenario planning
- Monitor delivery performance, proactively remove blockers, and maintain project momentum
- Support continuous improvement in delivery management practices and contribute to innovation
- Contribute to presales/business development opportunities and stay current on industry trends
Requirements
- Experience delivering complex software or cloud-based projects in agile environments
- Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
- Solid understanding of SDLC and agile delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to create and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and delivery schedules
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business and technical stakeholders
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and project governance
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent small-to-medium projects and budgets
- Strong communication skills (presentation and facilitation across diverse audiences)
- Commercial awareness including delivery financials (T&M and fixed-price models)
- Analytical mindset for forecasting, scenario planning, and margin analysis
- Curiosity and openness to new technologies and AI-driven delivery improvements
