About the role

Role overview

You will join Elastic as a Senior Compliance Analyst for the Public Sector (Information Security) team. You’ll lead US public-sector audit and certification activities, support internal teams, and help modernize the audit experience using data, automation, and continuous indicators.

Key responsibilities

Lead the US public sector audit and certification process for DoD IL 5.
Own continuous monitoring requirements to maintain ongoing compliance.
Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams by translating complex compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Drive a next-generation audit experience using:
- Intelligent data
- Automation
- Continuous metrics/indicators.

Requirements

High degree of autonomy, with strong prioritization and coordination skills and attention to detail.
Creative, practical mindset with risk-based decision making.
Experience leading public sector compliance audits and certification in a cloud-native company.
Experience with DoD IL 5 and/or FedRAMP High.

Nice to have

Experience with compliance-as-code.
Experience performing the above in a growing SaaS company.
