About the role

Join Bonterra as a Senior Commercial Data Analyst, where you will own the end-to-end bookings forecasting processes, lead quota allocation modeling, and support pipeline health analysis. You will create actionable insights through clear dashboards and reports, work closely with various teams to ensure data integrity, and present structured summaries to leadership. Key missions: Own end-to-end bookings forecasting processes, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting cycles, and partner with Sales leadership to validate commit, upside, and risk.. Lead quota allocation modeling, coverage ratio analysis, and capacity planning, and support annual and mid-year quota cycles with data-backed recommendations.. Create clear, consumable dashboards and reports in Amazon Quicksight and Excel that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and RevOps. Profile: - Ability to build strong working relationships across Sales, Finance, and RevOps while operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment - 4+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue analytics, business strategy, or related fields - Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and commercial success metrics - Extensive experience analyzing raw sales and bookings data, building forecasting and planning models, and translating insights into actionable recommendations - AI experience – familiarity with AI-driven forecasting tools or automation workflows - Experience working across CRM, CPQ, Finance, and reporting systems - Experience with Salesforce and sales pipeline mechanics - Fluency in Python and/or SQL (both preferred) - Ability to clearly communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and planning insights in a compelling and structured way. Experience presenting findings to senior leadership required; experience presenting to executive teams or investors a plus - Experience with data visualization tools (PowerPoint required; Tableau, Power BI, or similar preferred) - Experience with Amazon Quicksight a plus - Comfortable managing multiple planning cycles, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneously with strong attention to detail - Experience in a SaaS environment - Ability to ensure data consistency across multiple systems and inputs - Advanced Excel skills (modeling, scenario analysis, complex formulas) - Familiarity with Git for managing scripts or model revisions - Demonstrated ability to ask thoughtful questions about forecast assumptions, pipeline drivers, and quota structures. Strong analytical mindset with a desire to understand root causes
