Senior Commercial Account Executive (Wisconsin)

Role Overview

Join ServiceNow as a Senior Commercial Account Executive for new business software license revenue in the Chicago/Wisconsin area. You’ll own a territory strategy, build mid-market customer relationships, and drive revenue through prospecting and field-based sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business sales revenue from software licenses within assigned customers in the Chicago/Wisconsin territory.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy for the territory, including:
  • researching prospect customers
  • performing field-based sales activities
• Build and maintain relationships with mid-market clients and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Lead account management and maintain strong CRM hygiene with transparent sales process tracking.
• Work effectively in a matrixed support organization, coordinating with virtual specialists.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Commercial Account Executive (or equivalent) in the IT industry.
• Proven experience achieving sales targets.
• Executive-level relationship management experience.
• Ability to leverage or think critically about AI in work processes (e.g., AI-powered tools, automation, AI-driven insights, assessing AI impact).
• Strong ability to maintain CRM hygiene and provide sales process transparency.
• Travel 20–40%, and sometimes up to 50%.

• Experience/comfort working with multiple virtual specialists in a matrixed organization.
