About the role

Role: Senior Cloud Systems Engineer (Multi-Cloud)

Manage, maintain, and optimize server infrastructure running on public cloud platforms. You’ll combine deep operating system expertise with strong cloud fundamentals to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Responsibilities

Design and manage cloud infrastructure across one or more of AWS, Azure, and GCP
Administer Linux and/or Windows Server, including patching, performance tuning, and system hardening
Troubleshoot OS and infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and minimize downtime
Partner with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product) to support deployments and integrations
Build and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks
Optimize for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and overall resiliency
Help with security and compliance via access controls, patching, and vulnerability management best practices
Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and runbooks
Participate in migrations and modernization efforts across cloud platforms
Continuously improve operations by staying current with emerging technologies

Requirements

5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu) and/or Windows Server
Solid understanding of public cloud concepts across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
Experience with configuration management/automation (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and identity management concepts
Familiarity with monitoring/logging and troubleshooting distributed systems

Nice-to-haves

Experience supporting distributed systems troubleshooting at scale (implied by the monitoring/logging requirement)
