About the role
Role Overview
Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team, supporting management with BI strategy, reporting, and analytics. This remote role works under EST business hours and will modernize and improve the organization’s business reporting environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BI strategy aligned with organizational goals (growth, profitability, operational efficiency).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Claims, Underwriting/Operations, and Product Management to identify and prioritize BI needs.
- Build and manage dashboards and KPIs to provide actionable insights for business users.
- Develop and maintain analytical datasets alongside analytical teams to support broader business goals.
- Continuously improve reporting and data quality for accurate, timely, decision-ready outputs.
- Perform regulatory statistical reporting on a quarterly and annual basis to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- In-depth knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
Nice-to-Haves
- Insurance industry experience, especially P&C with exposure to Underwriting and Claims.
- Advanced analytics experience with R or Python.
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI.
- Strong business acumen around insurance KPIs and industry challenges.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 per year.
