Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Role overview

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst on Zillow Home Loans Analytics, you’ll use data and analytical methods to drive high-impact decisions for Sales and Operations. Your work focuses on improving customer outcomes and performance across the mortgage origination funnel.

Responsibilities

• Define, measure, and report success metrics for complex projects and pilots to guide decision-making.
• Use data to identify high-impact opportunities to:
  • increase conversion
  • improve operational efficiency
  • enhance customer outcomes across the origination funnel
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering to shape the analytics roadmap and research agenda.
• Translate business challenges into analytic questions and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to identify data sources and specify requirements for datasets and data models.
• Work with internal stakeholders to refine requirements and design analytic solutions for complex business problems.

Requirements

• Strong ability to apply data and analytical methods to drive business decisions.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally (Sales/Operations/Product/Engineering) to deliver analytics that lead to operational and strategic change.
• Ability to define and manage metrics for pilots/projects.

Nice to haves

• Experience in analytics for funnel/conversion and/or mortgage origination or related financial services domains.
