About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Business Data Analyst, you will support v4c.ai’s data and analytics initiatives in a remote, part-time (20 hours/week) capacity. You’ll translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and support end-to-end analytics: data acquisition, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
Manage and optimize Databricks data workflows to improve efficiency, performance, and cost management.
Analyze key business performance metrics including CTP, CVR, engagement, and funnel performance to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
Investigate data trends and user behavior to diagnose performance issues and determine root causes.
Translate insights into business requirements for:
- A/B testing and experimentation
- funnel optimization
- product improvements
Collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Document business and technical requirements for roadmap initiatives, including:
- data tagging enhancements
- technical refresh projects
Support strategic planning with KPI tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
Proven experience in Business Data Analytics or related analytical roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of data processing, reporting, and analytics workflows.
Ability to analyze KPIs, conversion funnels, and engagement metrics.
Excellent communication of insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in cross-functional and remote environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting A/B testing and experimentation.
Familiarity with modern data platforms, cloud environments, and analytics tools.
Exposure to product analytics/digital analytics/customer journey analysis.
Experience with distributed/consultant-based teams.
