About the role
Role Overview
Senior Business Analyst in People Digital Experience (HR), helping advance people/HR strategy through digitally optimized, AI-enabled solutions. You will work with the People Experience owner and IT liaison to improve and extend HR technology experiences and processes.
Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Total Rewards, Benefits, Operations) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Document current and future-state processes, workflows, and system interactions.
- Identify data compliance and regulatory considerations during requirements gathering.
- Perform fit-gap analyses and advise stakeholders on system capabilities and possible solutions.
- Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Support solution design reviews with input on business feasibility, process impacts, and dependencies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes through AI and automation enablement.
- Partner with IT to validate solutions align with requirements and business processes.
- Prepare and maintain enablement assets such as training materials, job aids, and enablement sessions.
Testing & Implementation
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT): create test cases, track defects, and coordinate with HR business users and technical teams.
- Validate new features delivered via Workday semiannual releases and ServiceNow updates.
- Support go-live readiness, deployment activities, and post-implementation validation.
Stakeholder & System Support
- Act as a liaison between HR stakeholders and the IT development team.
- Monitor and support resolution of complex incidents and service tickets with IT.
- Flex working hours to accommodate the APAC time zone.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years as a business analyst supporting HR technology at a complex global organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Preferred / Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience supporting solution builds within Workday HCM across core modules.
- Direct experience with ServiceNow HRSD.
