Role overview
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on Diabolocom’s Platform AI Team, you will co-architect and build scalable backend systems for AI-driven products.
Responsibilities
- Co-architect scalable and efficient backend systems using PHP and Python
- Collaborate with the AI Operations team to deliver integrated solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend capabilities
- Ensure code quality and security best practices
- Own API design, implementation, and documentation for:
- Internal APIs
- Third-party/integrator-exposed APIs
- Stay current with evolving backend/API standards
Requirements
- Senior-level backend experience (implied by role title)
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Python
- Experience designing and delivering APIs (internal and external)
- Commitment to code quality and security
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working closely with AI/operations teams on AI-integrated solutions
